Por muchos motivos, elegid el vuestro:
1) Por el derecho al anonimato: Si yo deseo permitir que cualquier persona pueda comentar anónimamente (poniendo el nombre que le apetezca), básicamente por no obligarles a crear una cuenta de fotolog que en la mayoría de casos no usarán para nada más, ¿qué les da derecho a privar de esa libertad a las personas? Su motivo es sencillo, una cuenta más, un usuario más, más dinero cuando se vendan.
2) Por la publicidad invasiva: Porque si yo genero los contenidos debería decidir si quiero que la haya y, en tal caso, qué tipo prefiero. No estoy dispuesto a ayudar a la venta de productos de dudosa legalidad, publicidad engañosa y, en muchos casos, timos directamente.
3) Por las limitaciones en cuanto a diseño, tecnología, tipo de medios, calidad de las imágenes, etc. Hay decenas de servicios infinitamente mejores, si lo que os llama la atención es la red social, también podréis descubrir funciones "sociales de verdad" en otros servicios.
Por todo ello, abandono FOTOLOG (TM). A muchos os puede parecer excesivo pero, sinceramente, ya estoy suficientemente cansado de que me recorten las libertades en la calle como para que también lo hagan en el único sitio en el que aún tenemos elección.
Y para los que no sepan las alternativas, os dejo una lista de algunas de las posibilidades:
