retrato de um retirante.
A caricatura do retirante é rabiscada com o lápis do tempo,
apontado no chão percorrido. Andarilho quase forasteiro pelo
caminho incerto. A sentença foi clara: partir. O caminho quase
óbvio, Pernambuco para São Paulo. Deixou suas pegadas invisíveis
ao vento. Se chama Benedito, mas nesse cenário de Morte e Vida,
há de ser Severino.
