Chapter 1: Twilight Romance
I was waiting to step out of the twilight
Seeking life on the outside
Waiting to be gone again
Like some conceptual piece of romance
Waiting to be destroyed again
Like so many times before
Destroyed by…

Chapter 2: Obscured by Sunlight
The brief pain resides even after it’s all over
No one can decide to think things over
There’s simply no time
Can’t see clearly, haven’t for as long as I can remember
My head aches, I search for a cure
But this would never go
Walking down the aisle
To a path foreseen sometimes in my mind
A wish for the future
Some nice dreams to sleep on forever
And never wake
My mind’s eye needs correcting
Can’t tell real life from fiction
When does the world end and my mind begin?
For once I wished a life
My skin burned by the sunlight
Makes me feel alive
Obscured by sunlight

Chapter 3: Secluded
For once I live a life
You’ll never take from me
This is what I choose
For myself and on my own
I wish I could somehow tell you
About the stories going on in my mind
Try to put them to paper
But it gets lost in translation
Like dawn light reflecting on those deserted roads
On a random day in Autumn.

Chapter 4: Lost in Hollywood
I came and went through the rabbit’s hole
And entered an empty Wonderland
Trying to find a point of beginning
But this world doesn’t make sense anymore
Life’s not like a Hollywood film
That teenage bride in big screen stills
Sadness and not belonging to be found in there
I can see it in their judging stares

Chapter 5: Reconciliation
A reflection in the waters of my thoughts
Hold it to myself, but I should’ve shared
Now it’s long talks on the telephone
Instead of being together at home
I know it’ll make you feel hurt
But I’ve seen hurt too, too many times before
So what’s left but to kiss and make up?
A mirror shattered and we’ll glue the pieces back together
Together.
So this is when the world ends?
A smile withered and faded
In an old photograph
Desperate for each other’s affection, reaction
But now there’s hardly any satisfaction
All I wanted was a little kiss
The things I miss
Were to be found at the bottom of your wishing well
The world ended in a wave of water
And washed us back to the beginning
Where I found you and we touched
And waited for the tide to come again
Just perfect!
I have no words!! :) I didn't know my "other"brother was such a good writer, hihi.
