Train trestle and old pilings at the Santa Ynez River mouth

Here is the rusty train trestle, some old pilings, and a bit of driftwood at the mouth of the Santa Ynez River at Surf Beach out past the town of Lompoc. They are catching the perfect light as the sun gets low behind. (Surf Beach, 5 November 2009
I brought my after-school Hike Club kids here yesterday for skimboarding during a minus low tide. Everything was perfect!
