Mountain Laurel

Kalmia latifolia, Mountain Laurel
The flowers on this plant are engineered to dust pollen onto insects that land on them. As you can see each stamen is held into a little pocket or dimple on the inside of the petal, when an insect lands on them they are triggered and pop out of the pockets and slap pollen all over the backs of hard working pollinators.
