This was probably the last place of America, Lindbergh saw on his flight to Europe! Just imagine, sitting in such a tiny little aircraft, filled with petrol to the brim, no window in front of you (because there is an additional gas tank), and very poor means of navigation, and then setting out into this vast ocean in front of you...
He did not even have a radio...
I think, he was a brave man.

Wonderful pictures Tooshy. It's a beautiful place. I like the little beach with icebergs. I love spending time and secluded/deserted beaches but the thought of being at a beach with icebergs never crossed my mind. It would be just wonderful!
