The Tormentos was born in December 2001 to shake the foundations of the local Surf-Garage scene & ride the highest waves of the Rio de la Plata.Fast as a long Board & sharpen as a pacific wave, these fellows redeem their soul boards through the wildest instro-surf rock ala Astronauts or Pyramids with influences such as Dick Dale & The Ventures The Tormentos was born from the ashes of 2 bands , first The Killer Dolls an obligated reference of the south American killer garage scene of the late nineties who has toured The united states & south America several times & has lived behind various 7 inches, an LP and a split. From these band They took Bass, guitar & drums.On the other hand there is Culebra that completes the band in guitar, who is a solo artist with a long career on the local Garage-psychedelic scene & a solo Album. With several gigs on their backs, these guys has got out a CD split with The Phantom Surfers, legends of the 3 wave of surf Â?instro Named GO!, with 7 tracks each band printed by Scatter records/Lost tiki records both labels from Buenos Aires , Argentina.. The also will participate of the compilations: V.V.A.A.
