THE LITTLE BIRD PROJECT
THE LITTLE BIRD PROJECT
Daniel Arendt and Christian Lindemann (they are working and living in Hannover/Germany) invited Graphicdesigners,
Illustrators and Streetartists from all around the world to draw, doodle or paint a bird character. A lot of people did a
and within a few weeks they received nearly 200 awesome, cute, bold, colourfull, little birds. Participating artists are
among a lot of other cool people: Jon Burgerman, Peskimo, Fons Schiedon, Sauerkids, Yok, Wayne Horse and Chris Garbutt.
With these birds Daniel and Christian designed a DIN A1 poster which is available fom the 3rd of August 2007 in the websiteshop.
A big part of the profit from the postersale will be going to UNICEF for their work against children labour in india. The poster is
showing a selection of the submitted bird artworks. All 200 birds can be seen in the websitegallery.
An exhibition with the 200 birds will take place in Hannover at j3fm gallery from the 3rd till the 5th of August 2007.
Daniel and Christian wants to thank all the participating artists for their kindly support.
