Remote control es uan critica directa a las discograficas que hacen y desacen cosas en la vidas artistas que sacan sus primeros sencillos, en este caso hacen referencia a CBS, que en su tiempo de contraco con los clash lanzaron Remote Control si la autorizacion de los clash. Tambien sobre los ambiciosos del dinero que representaban bandas como los pistols y los clash mismos con Bernie Rhodes, que menciono en varias ocaciones tener todo el control sobre ellos.
