David Boreanaz has confessed Bones characters Agent Booth and Dr Brennan are constantly fantasising about each other.
The Angel star - who plays Special Agent Seeley Booth in the forensic drama - denied rumours he and co-star Emily Deschanel (Dr Brennan) consummate their lust in the new series.
David said: "Do they have sex? Not that I heard of! But I think it may happen through a fantasy episode, but I don't think you get to see us having sex. Our minds do it every episode which the audience really taps into. It's nice to see them so vulnerable because they don't want to get so close to each other
"It all adds for a great romantic journey that we've all been on since the beginning of this thing. Ultimately it's like we are a married couple who have our ups and downs and so I think the sex part of it is cheap so I think you can leave that part up to the imagination."
But Emily revealed the characters are set for some bedroom action.
she said: "The creator Hart Hanson has told us that they're going to end up in bed together this season so I don't know what that means or how that's going to happen. I was a little freaked out about the thought of kissing him after three years of not. "There's a YouTube clip of me freaking about before a kissing scene which is really embarrassing. It's always uncomfortable, but yes, there will be more action between Booth and Brennan."
