Hello Elizabeth, thanks for your visit. I'm doing well and recovering nicely from my broken wrist. It still can be stiff and sore at times but I have good strength now and can do most anything I need or want to do. I'm very happy for that. My mother is doing as well as can be. She is eating good once again and has more energy. Mentally she is often confused and forgetful. She is not terribly bad however this situation will not improve. It's something we need to accept. Aging is taking it's toll. The 4th was a fairly quiet day and anymore that's the way I like it.

Beautiful picture. I wish I could too. I see freedom, beauty and grace in the picture.

Yes Palin's in the news again. We are still baffled up here. Nothing she has said makes sense. Maybe she will fade away gradually, but for now I'm sure we haven't heard the last of her.

Yes, it would be lovely to fly like the birds.

I loved our trip to Mallorca and will go back again maybe next Easter and maybe with my parents again. They really enjoyed it and it was fun to be with them.

Nice for you to have some time off. Does this mean you will be working during most of the summer? I hope you can have a bit more time to get out and about, or just out to the garden and relax with a good book and a long cool drink of something. Have you heard from Eli? I hope she's having a great time down south.
