De acuerdo a la recomendación de CONSUR se comunica la prohibición de la formación llamada squeeze ball. Feruchi indica a todas Asociaciones que deben exigir a sus referees el estricto cumplimiento de las Leyes del Juego, con marcado énfasis en aquellas situaciones que hacen a la seguridad de los jugadores en las situaciones de tackle y post tackle.
En especial, en aquellas donde los jugadores tienen los hombros más bajos que la cadera, e incluso en la mayoría de los casos, la cabeza apoyada contra el piso o en un jugador que yace en el piso, en posición boca abajo (squeeze ball) las cuales deberán ser penalizadas con puntapié penal.
