Our friends recently had a baby and we delivered my new favorite new-baby gift: a diaper cake. It was supposed to be a diaper-castle and look more like this: http://www.specialdeliverybabyshowers.com/assets/images/website10%20033.JPG but it was a good effort anyway. This was only the third diaper cake that I have ever made (with the creative assistance of my talented sister) so I think it's pretty fun. The best part about this is that they little Princess jewelry we attached all over the place was a huge hit with the new baby's older sister. Everybody wins!
Inside the cake:
2 burp clothes
3 refill packs of wipies
96 8 lb. diapers
2 tubes of Johnson's baby cream
1 Princess jewelry kit
I had a diaper cake for my baby shower, I thought it was the greatest thing ever! It was a 3 tiered diaper cake with two shoes on top.
so cute!! I love the princess theme. I have always wanted to make one of these...but never really got around to it.
