11/10/09The bug was not harmed in the making of this image. What happens to him afterward, okay, that's his business. I got nothin' to do wit dat. Didn't see nothin', didn't do nothin'. Just said, "Thanks, pally," and went on my way. "Any royalties you want to share here, just gimme a call on the cell."

Re: thank you PW, I appreciate that, and I wish I had qq to ask ... however (serious mode is on now) it's not the English that's tripping me up but the damn target language with its aversion for the polysyllabic and pompous, and its fear of meandering sentences. I'm killing my beauties, I've been at them all morning, because my advocate from hell doesn't like them, and he's right, and that hurts. John B. says: first thing a translator learns is humility. about my b&w pictures... it is a matter of film! you know, thsoe old-fashioned film pictures still have so much strenght. :)
