Il faut bien sûr garder en mémoire ce douloureux conflit qui nous a tous marqués.
Bonne fin de semaine Paul.

PW - Whatever motive may surface for the Fort Hood killings, such acts of desperation will forever be beyond comprehension. Sadly, they cannot be prevented, either.
xo,
I´ve seen the graves on the other side....where thy call it the american war....many beautiful graves, but no names - unfortunately homo sapiens never seems to learn
xo´s
i hope in no war at all. but we- 2 legged - have this tendence to kill and destry everything. in teh name of power, of money, of supremacy on otehr being, in the name of "protecting the others". we should protect man from himself, instead. i try to go on, improving in the opposite direction.
Hello Paul ! Great capture ! I think every war is awful and bad for all people ..
Thanks for your kind words about my poem ! Have a gorgeous weekend ! Many regards and hugs :) Sa
I do have photos of the Vietnam graves, but where.....I think I´ve even uploaded some a long time ago. I have to take a look and tell you later :)
:( I couldn't believe what happened in TX, really sad...so many young victims! this world is nuts!
enjoy the 11th :)
Ha ! i found an example.....it´s a small one , there were bigger ones, but you get the idea. many battlefields are to be seen around Hue, the landscape still full of craters, now overgrown by grass :)
The vietnamese people are very forgiving though.....these days they love everything american....

Hahaha, as I saw that I remembered the allusions in Family Guy about that. They are always laughing at it. But of course, it was something important for the people there in America.
Hope we talk soon again!

No treat for Madam.
BTW my prolix Reverend is from Rotterdam. A man of G*d and a ladie's man. Reason why your moniker made me sprinkle my screen with porridge, this morning.
:D
Hi! I've been watching your last pictures and I'd like to say you that you take the nicest photos I've never seen!
Awesome! =)
Again, in a couple of months I'll be posting pictures from the same sites.. in the meantime it's nice to see via your pictures where I was some months ago.
Re: most houses in SF are earthquake-proof by now.
Re: I didn't know about these Ghanaian practices, very interesting. And today I happened to see a picture of a beautiful Ghanaian 'fish'. I think I'd prefer that to the plane, in spite of the guarantee you mentioned.

I've been to this memorial site years ago also.
What can one say about the Fort Hood incident? There's been too many already.
All the best to you Paul...Chris
