Gliding by the Golden Isle

I'm not certain which of the San Juan Islands this is, photographed from the Washington State Ferry Elhwa. It's probably a part of Orcas Island, near where the ferry runs between Shaw to the south and Orcas to the north. I was on the port side, returning east, so therefore Orcas. I know that much!

orcas.... have you seen "real" orcas too mr.wolman? nice island, looks so green and lonely, like a summer kiss while saying goodbye...
it was agreat hike, i was supposed to relax but we walked 7 hours in the end... ahahaha... sometimes i just can't resist :DDD

Those ferries have got to be the best way to get around. Unfortunately Anchorage is not on the Alaska Marine Highway System.
