Sus ojos amenazaban con desbordarse, pero el rostro de ella permanecía impasible. Ya no quería intentarlo de nuevo.
- No te lo he pedido nunca, ¿por qué iba a hacerlo ahora?
- Porque esta vez me voy de verdad.
- Volverás, siempre vuelves.
- ¿Y si no lo hago?
- Te olvidaré.- Surgió un silencio doloroso. Su máscara de frialdad comenzaba a resquebrajarse. Respiró hondo en un vano intento de que no se quebrase su voz.- Será como si nunca hubieses existido.
