Hoy me proponía hablar del fin de semana, de cómo ha terminado la semana de bienvenida, con su desfile, sus barbacoas, etc. Pero esta mañana, al abrir la oficina estaba todo tirado por el suelo y faltaban un par de cosas de los cajones. No me falta nada importante pero me ha dado un poco de bajón pensar que alguien puede entrar en el edificio contiguo a donde duermo y rebuscar en mis cosas. Los guardias de seguridad están viendo las cintas, pero con la de gente que ha pasado por aquí este fin de semana puede haber sido hasta papá Noel.
Mañana hablaré de la semana de bienvenida, de momento un aperitivo con la foto de la coronación de la miss (¿habéis tenido esa sensación de que cuando alguien ha crecido sin nada y consigue salir del hoyo, se lo quiere poner todo a la vez y acaba peor que antes?).

Glass Building 209, Somewhere in the Ameritas

Today I wanted to talk on the weekend, on how homecoming week has finished, with its parade, its BBQs, etc. But this morning, when I opened the office everything was all over the floor and couple of things were missing from the drawers. I don’t miss anything important but I feel a bit down when thinking somebody can enter the building next to the one where I sleep and rummage through my stuff. Security guards are watching the tapes, but with so many people here this weekend it could even be Santa Claus.
Tomorrow I’ll write on the homecoming week, by now an aperitif with the picture from coronation of the miss (did you ever had this feeling that when somebody has grown up without anything and gets out of poverty, he or she wants to wear everything at the same time and ends up worst than he or she was at the beginning?).
