Last week I made some 'boerenkoolstamp', a very famous national dish!
Cook potatoes with sliced kale and salt. When the potatoes are ready mash it all up and mix it with some butter, pepper and salt.
Traditionally you eat it with a cooked smoked sausage, fried smoked bacon ,gravy and mustard but we ate it with baked onions, baked mushrooms, gravy and mustard.
And I ate some sambal with it too.
