7/16/09
Yesterday M.'s dad was visiting us (or actually, he wanted to see Dondi :-).
We ate basmati rice with fish curry, topped with cilantro (for me and Thomas).
Homemade 'atjar ketimoen', Surinam 'sambal manis' and Indonesian 'sambal badjak' on the side (totally different tastes).

After eating M saw that there is beef stock in the Indonesian sambal, so no more of this brand for us (as many of you know we don't eat meat, chicken etc.)!

Ja, die kleine kat is echt superbijgehand. Doet alles wat niet mag en gaat daar ook gewoon stug mee door !

Cilantro :) I can´t imagine food without cilantro. Is just basic in mexican food as another herb that is a pity that just grows here, is called epazote

This counting calory day make me hungry :P

Such beautiful food, the last few pics.

I am a semi vegitarian. I do love steamed cauliflower, brocoli, potatoes, carrots and savoy cabbage. A big dish!!!!!! I am still trying to find a nice sauce to go with it. White is okay, but a bit bland.

Oh, curried fish? Wowwwww
