To start the new year fresh and clean,
one more time "Dinosaurs Everywhere" pasted in club 11.
This is most probably going to be my last post on this flog.
I've been posting on this Online Utopia for over a year now and it was alot of fun,
but it was already reaching it's end and I think I really killed it with the Eyes.
Look trough the archive one more time, 'cause I'll probably delete a lot of it in the following days.

Here's a thought for this new year, take a step back and look at what it is exactly that you are doing and what you want to say, because it is also my humble opinion that most "street art" seriously sucks!!!
Try to let it be more than just "having fun".
It evolved into something that happens on the internet, go outside and look at what's actually there and then judge it, instead of just saying that everything you see on the net is good. Everyone can put up stickers or poster in his/her backyard and post it all over the internet. To me that's not anywhere near "street art" since it isn't even on the street for everyone to see, it's on the internet for a select group of people to see. Not the same!
Look at the people you think are good and ask yourself why you think they are good. Then try to become just as good or better, and not by doing what they are doing, 'cause they are already doing that and they are better at it, but by doing your own thing.
And maybe even stop calling this thing "street art", most of it doesn't come anywhere near art, but is more like hobby. Not the same!
Ask yourself: do you want to do art on the streets? Or a hobby on the internet?
Think about these things and do something new for the new year!
And start with taking your finger out of your friends ass, and stop accepting their fingers in your ass!
There is really to much of that in this "scene"!

Het hele internet gebeuren jeeft de hele focus verschoven. De tijd dat je actief moest zijn op straat om in contact te komen met anderen is voorbij, daar is internet voor. Wanneer heb jij voor het laatst iemand op straat leren kennen? (niet jij persoonljk, maar iedereen)
Laten we internet en fotolog niet langer beschouwen als t belangrijke medium om je boodschap bij de andere mensen te krijgen, maar de straat zelf. Op internet zitten toch alleen maar de mensen die bij voorbaat geintereseerd zijn, zoek die andere 95% van de bevolking op, en probeer hun te interesseren, te prikkelen, versteld te doen laten staan.
Op een gelukkig 2006! En lekkere sletjes natuurlijk, want uiteindelijk doen we het daarvoor! VS,HV! sjeweet!
