Happy Wedding Anniversary
10/24/09It truly is a magical day! And while birthdays or other anniversaries are always about 1 single person, the wedding day is about 2 people in love and 2 means so much more than 1.
We had such a great wedding day, Oliver and I. We actually had the civil wedding on a Friday and the big party the Saturday after. So when we got up, that Saturday 11 years ago, we were already married and it felt GREAT - and still does!
We had breakfast together, opened a bottle of nice champagne and got ready. Just the two of us, nobody else. No make-up or hair stylist (I am able to do this all myself), no family, just the two of us - as we like it.
Then we left our house at 2:30pm to walk to the church which is 5 minutes away. On our way, Oliver quickly went into the flower store to get my bouquet which we've ordered before hand.
The wedding ceremony was very festive and our pastor held a wonderful speech which truly moved our 57 wedding guests.
For American standards our wedding party was rather small with only 57 guests - in the USA they celebrate with 200 people minimum, but we knew and loved the people we were celebrating with and that's all that counts!
After the wedding ceremony our friends had chartered a bus, and we made a little tour through Munich, with stops at Oliver's and my favorite bars. Then we headed to the Bodega Dali, where I used to sometimes bartend, and there we had our wedding reception which lasted until 4am in the morning.
A LOT of Rioja was drank and tapas eaten! A wonderful day and definitely one to remember always.

Ich höre eigentlich alles was so im Radio läuft... Von elektronischer Musik bis zu Rapp. Also einfach alles ^^
Aber am liebsten höre ich eigentlich elektronische Musik, eher solche wie dir Alberto Perrone ein Paar Mal gezeigt hat. Das ist so unser Musikstil.
Es gibt da ein Lied, das ich einfach immer wieder höre und einfach nicht Müde von werde: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4KrOOm8Nj8 (Video wurde übrigens in Berlin gedreht.)
Deutsche Bands find ich auch ganz Toll! Früher war ich total verrückt nach Tokio Hotel, aber jetzt langweilen die mich schon...viel marketing...
Ansonsten steh ich total auf Bushido (Rapper) , Rammstein (Hard rock) oder E nomine (misteriöse melodische Musik).
Sind alles eher moderne Bands, weiss nicht ob du die kennst.
Aber sonst singen die meisten Deutschen heut zu tage sowieso immer nur auf English.
Musik ansich find ich Klasse. Ich könnte es einfach nicht aushalten einen Tag ohne meinen Ipod zu leben :P
