First Port of Call: St. Maarten / St. Martin

After 2 days at sea, when the weather got significantly better, we reached St. Maarten / St. Martin, an island that's divided in a Dutch and a French half. I liked it there a lot! It does something to a place when different nationalities and people have to live peacefully together. (The main reason why I love New York so much!)

Here you see a little bit of the QM2 - the one in the middle - and 2 other ships.

The nations can not be at peace. because each has its own culture and if you blend each, is losing its beliefs, cultures and constumbres.

Can you tell me some custom, but not of other nationalities in New york?

Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city, but because of this, we are losing various customs, which were once common.
