Thoughts on BEAUTY
7/16/09WHAT IS BEAUTY AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE?
Granted, when meeting somebody we’re attracted - or not - by her or his looks. Meeting somebody online, it could all be fake though! You could submit somebody else’s photo or enhance your photos with photoshop, etc.
Most people are much prettier offline anyway, because there’s so much more to a human being than their looks!
It’s the personality that makes a human being!
And who are we to even try to judge somebody by their looks?
I am certain that all the pretty gals and guys on Fotolog like /chica_vip, /noestoiiechaa, /chupinchupinn, luciarossi, /ex_pendex, /between_insect, /j_e_t1, /leocat, /lebart,
/leandrovilela, /ema_chiko18 and /the_list_goes_on_and_on have an advantage in life, but there’s so much more to it!
Looks is not all! And it fades… when we get older… and what’s left then?!
For me, most important in life is to live a happy life, and to live it together with a partner I love and who loves me (/unterwegs) who’s pretty inside – and his good looks don’t hurt either ;)
So keep your mean talks to yourself, people :D I don’t wanna hear them!!!
I wish you all the luck and certainty to be happy in your skin and happy in your life!

On the Internet is an easy place for many people to have another identity. Other use their photoshop program to be more attractive and apparent something that is not true.
All my pictures are without photoshop and also I never before used that program :P I don't how to use it LOL
When you know someone on the real life-out of a computer- things are completly different.

To me it ought to be a mixture of both - I have to be attracted in both ways to someone I like (even if this person is ugly to most of the other people)
Why? Because in my case at least you must feel attraction, desire and all that if you want a serious partner relationship.
When It comes to friends looks doesn't matter. What is important is the inside.
Yes there are a lot of "beautiful" people here on Fotolog and all that ... But how many of them have feelings that are not selfishness and all that? Almost none and It's sad to say it. They think that their appearence IS EVERYTHING.

in the internet everything happens, having good pictures or being online doesn't show us who`s prettier. As you say ¨It’s the personality that makes a human being!¨

Hi there Elke :) - Nowadays good looks are very important, but really, when you mature you learn that the real important thing is not the appearance but personality is too important :) - And my thought about this is: "There're not ugly people, only different styles and thoughts" ;)

Even That Elke, if a person is an assasin, the judgement here is the law, but the true judgement is god!
We are no one to judge assasins, we would lock them in jails but not to kill them, as many people do. i'm not agree when people harm others with the excuse that they were harmed too. That is bad..
I'm sometimes bad for these "pulsiones" and I can't understand why people is like that.
Two words which for me are mistaken are:
1 VIOLENCE
2 GENERALISE
3 JUDGE (we aren't anyone to judge)
and we have to watch out with personality, it confiuses us.

Hola Elke , me gusta en verdad como toma las imagenes , tengo una pregunta que camara usted tiene? es solo un poco de curiosidad , con respecto a lo que ha dicho en la leyenda de la foto , es verdad las personas lindas por un lado siempre van a tener mas ventajas que las demas pero no hay que olvidarse que son iguales a los demas.
Usted ha nombrado una serie de fotologs , pero se ha olvidado de muchos otros incluido el mio :( , o talves sera que no soy lindo jajaja , bueno tampoco me ha respondido mis ultimas firmas pero seguramente no tendra tiempo de poder firmar mi fotolog , la entiendo y no crea que me enojo es solo mi opinion.

and even though is nice to find someone pretty both inside and out, if I had to choose, I'd always go for the beautiful inside =)

The beauty that is worth (for me) is the interior, a nice personality, but what matters are the demonstrations of friendliness and love that goes beyond a pretty face and a perfect body, "the quality goes inside".

Many users of fotolog seem to be good people, but when look back, speak ill.
Conclusion, appearances are often deceptive.
Fortunately the people around me is people trustworthy, respectful and good-hearted. That makes me happy to live.
