You need to have a KEY to this park and you would need to live in one of the buildings around it to actually have access to Gramercy Park! It's not exceptionally expensive to live around it - let's face it, it's nowhere "cheap" in Manhattan - but you just don't get an apartment here.
Luckily, the fence is broad enough for a lens to slip through and here we go with another Spring picture.

It a very nice place. But I couldn't live in a apartment. I'm happy living in my house, with my park and my pool. Living in a big city is something I avoid doing...

Hi Elke, are you from NYC or relatively new there. I have lived there for almost 40 years. If you have not visited the new park they are constructing along the Hudson River, I suggest you go there sometime. Enter from, say, Chistopher street, some great views, some lovely plantings, can see the Statue of Liberty from there, still working on it, but it is the largest park project since Central Park, although utterly different in concept from it. I Iove all the new plantings throughout the city. Thanks to the policy of Mayor Bloomberg, who of course is trying to make NYC as great as London (where he also lives). Richard
