coupe hurricane. Nice shot Ana I like tis osrt of birds.
have a very nice day.
greetings Marja

momento oportuno!! :)

Oh I am seeing birds which I can not see here , very nice but sundays? Must be a bad hair day:-)
This darter or snakebird are mainly tropical waterbirds must be of the americas ?I have never seen one of these
From Wilki I find : The American Darter (A. anhinga) is also known as Anhinga. It is called "water turkey" in the southern United States for little clearly apparent reason; though the American Darter is quite unrelated to the wild turkey, they are both large, blackish birds with long tails that are sometimes hunted for food.
Best wishes

What a beautiful picture I do not know the name of the bird ... but he is wonderful.

Re: how are your neck?
Fine weekend hugs Ans.

Hi again about the darter !
In Australia, the Darter is found from Adelaide, South Australia, to Tennant Creek, Northern Territory and then to Broome, Western Australia. it is also found in south-western Australia, from Perth to Esperance. Worldwide, it has been thought of as one of two main Anhinga species (the other, A. anhinga, is found in North America), found in the southern half of Africa, Madagascar, Iraq, Pakistan, India, south-east Asia, Indonesia and New Guinea. However, A. melanogaster is now considered to be further divided into three species, with rufa being found in Africa, melanogaster in south Asia and novaehollandiae in New Guinea and Australia (the Australasian Darter).

But is not found here :-( Best wishes
