A 50kg solid gold statue of
Kate Moss has been unveiled at a contemporary sculpture exhibition at London's British Musuem.
The statue, titled "Siren" and valued at $3.36 million, is thought to be the largest gold statue to be made since ancient Egyptian times, the Associated Press reported.
Marc Quinn's work, described as an
"Aphrodite of our times" is part of the Statuephilia exhibition.
"I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpure of the person who's the ideal beauty of the moment," he said.
"But even Kate Moss doesn't live up to the image." watch the video here!
