Very interesting picture Marisa. A ticket for the game it would seem. I wonder if you are going. There is a (great) pizzeria here that seems to be operated by Arabs rather than (as you might expect) Italians. Soccer is always on the TV and the broadcasts of often in Arabic. So, after all these years, it would have been to my advantage to learn some Arabic.

Yes, winter comes and the boats will be at rest. Still, there will be a few hardy fishermen out on the water and possibly a few kayakers. I'd love to kayak in the winter but I think it would take some effort to work up to it.

This was absolutely strange, Marisa. I saw some of the game live on German TV, and all the time I was thinking, somewhere in this stadium in Doha somebody is sitting who knows me (at least as a Fotolog-friend).

I hope you had a real good evening. At least your team won, but I think the Selecao (sorry for misspelling this) can do a lot better.
