Miguel Pinto fue puntal en la cancha y por su liderazgo positivo. Él es el que arenga, el que dice lo que hay que decir para salir con las pulsaciones a cien, a pelear desde la primera pelota, algo que había fallado en años anteriores, donde de repente nos pillaban pajareando... Antes de la segunda final, en el camarín, le dije 'capitán, haga lo suyo', y él me respondió 'no se preocupe, ésta la vamos a ganar por usted'. Para mí fue una sorpresa la forma en que asumió el liderazgo.
