eggplants

This is an eggplant, but not usual eggplant. It is called "MIZUNASU". This kind is a product of OSAKA.
It contains more moisture than usual eggplants.

So I rinced them with salt water and made salad. In the glass conteiner it is pickkled eggplants.

It tells us summer comming, and actually it is hot and humid.

cool!What do you pickle the egg plant in?Vinegar?

Not vinegar, rice-bran paste. This is a traditional way to pickle vegetables in Japan.
