nein, ich musste gestern nicht mehr giessen ;-) Aber wir konnten trotzdem bis 22 Uhr draussen sitzen und Bohnen und Mangold putzen ;-)
Ich finde die Idee mit Euren Himmelsbildern echt klasse und hab mich jetzt einfach angeschlossen ;-)

Hello Margit, I'm glad to see that skyweek is not over. Somehow I though it was. I especially like this picture because of the gull (emma). I think they are my favorite bird to photograph.

The elevation where I live rarely gets beyond 2000 feet or maybe 600+ meters. Still, with living in a river valley, everything is up from my house. Many cyclists here ride time trials on the valley routes. Looks like fun to me but my preference is for the hills. I like long climbs at the start of the ride (after a bit of warm up) followed by some riding on the ridges to see the views. Finally there is a descent and the last few have been great fun. Here there are good choices for either pavement of off pavement rides up in the hills. I feel fortunate to live in a rural area of this state. However, I'd like to ride the bike trails of a big city (Toronto looks great) if I ever get the chance.

Ein schönes Bild in einem tollen Format! Ich hänge immer viel zu sehr in meinem 3:2 Format fest (mache alle Bilder 3:2, 4.5 MB, das ist optimal für einen Ausdruck im DIN A4 Format)
Ich liebe das Geschrei von Möwen, hier höre ich es leider viel zu selten. Aber in einem kleinen Kaff in Cornwall, da übernachtete ich direkt neben der Kirche, und ab 4 Uhr morgens setzten die Möwen ein, und eine Stunde später ging das Gebimmel los - da war es dann nicht mehr so lustig!!
