Originally born in Barcelona in 1850, Manny Rodriguez sailed to america in the search for cheap land after reading a newspaper article. He died aged 30 when a pack of wolves caught him in lake Winnapisaki trying to fish something to eat. He had spent months digging for gold without luck.
