Today made me bring back really good memories!

We were talking about retro gaming consoles that we owned.

Many years ago, we owned a 1985 NES console with 3 games:-
Super Mario Bros.
Duck Tales
Duck Hunt
I absolutely loved these games, especially Duck Hunt as I got to shoot down either ducks or clay pigeons.
Talking about these games with Olivia just brought so many fond memories back, it was indescribable!
I could picture Tarsh and myself sitting in the rumpus room downstairs playing Super Mario Bros., trying to kill Bowser to save the stupid Princess Peach because the bitch always got herself into trouble, for hours on end. I could see the picture on the TV so clearly of Uncle Scrooge sliding just that little too far on the ice and falling over the edge to, once again, die and watch him float up to heaven in Duck Tales.

What ever happened to the good old days of where the controllers were nothing but a rectangle with a cross and two buttons, where the characters were 2D and just threw little fireballs as a defence weapon?

I miss those days...
