Today we went to Halfords to get some scratch repairer for my chariot, Pigstub, to patch up his wounds from when he was pushed onto his side in February. Rust was starting to set in on some of them, so today I finally got round to buying some touchy-up paint, and spent some time outside scrubbing down the chipped bits with the "special glass fibre preparation tool" (or, 'scratchy stick', as better befits it) and putting grey primer on top. I've used up almost all the primer, because he had
so very many scuffs from hitting the ground, but he looks a heck of a lot nicer now, even though its just the grey base over the scratches. It'll be... interesting... to see how it looks with colour over it, seeing as we had to do a 'closest match' job with it.
Annnyway - look what else we got! A treasure! A treasure for the dashboard! It's packaging says it is a Bubu Alien, and it was hiding in the restocking draw, which was pointing out just little bit from underneath the rack of car smellies. You put a little sachet of smell beads in it (oo-er), and then... squeeze it when you want some more smell, and smell-air comes out of its bottom! Squeee!
I'm not entirely sure I like the smell. But I don't care! Because I squeeze it's bottom to make more come out!
Wicked close-up bum shots on my flickr, here:
