I saw Phantom of the Opera 4 times in one week, which I`m sure I haven`t broken any record. Where have I been living, on Venus, not to have ever heard of Gerard Butler before Phantom of the Opera? He is so sexy, handsome and a very good actor.

Hey dont fret about it. I never even heard of Gerard Butler until The Phantom of the Opera either. I mean I watched the movie and loved the Phantom and then loved the character who played him. I then found out it was GB. I wondered who is this guy.. he playes the role so well and plus he was very handsome, with the mask or not. So I did some reasearch on him and knew more about him each day as I read and read about him. I know soo much about him now, its not funny! I have seen several of his other movies too. I still have more to go to watch. Well there is my description of how I first heard of Gerard Butler.

same here, the first time i had heard of gerry was in `the phantom of the opera`. and no u didnt break a record i watched something like 14 times in 5 days. i became obsessed, even my dad said so. i also did research and watched his other movies, i also have more to watch. all i can say is i wish fit boy butler luck in the future he is a great actor and he is gorge!!!! lets big it up for butler!!!!

I am with u guys never heard of Gerard Butler til phantom of the opera but ive seen it 29 times in a record of close to under 2 weeks. Gut i am not a fan because of his looks i am a fan of his work, his talent and love for every part he plays in whatever movie he does. he takes a passion for his work.

I have seen most of Gerard's movies and I think he's great! but no one is commenting on his ability to sing. I would love to know what band he sang in, and if they recorded anything....Does anyone know? I thought his voice was the real magic of Phantom Of The Opera. Right!

I had never heard of Gerry Butler till Phantom and now I have seen almost all of his work. I watch The Phantom of the Opera over and over! I have not obsessed over any actor since Sean Connery.(in Marnie) I may be Gerard's oldest fan! 72 this month.I love his singing and he is a terrific actor. And better than chocolate!!!

The first time I saw Gerard Butler was in Dear Frankie. I hadn't seen POTO so I immediately checked it out as well as Timeline and Attila. His acting drew me in and what a pleasant surprise to find out what a gentleman he is. And, of course, wonderful to look at. I'm hooked!!!!!

Gerard Butler (I love typing/saying his name!) Is really a wonderful actor and on a big plus part is that he is so fine! He out runs any male in the entertinement buissiness! Funny thing is I would always show my friend pictures of him and now she is in love with him (like me, but I love him WAY MORE then her)
