Hazel - 1986 to 7 March 2005
Although Hazel`s overactive thyroid seemed to be under control, it had weakened her heart, and she died peacefully in my arms at 8.15 this morning.
She was a very special person and I will miss her more than I can ever say.

Dear Catherine. O learned to love Hazel through the love you devoted to her. You said well: she was a person, this lovely four-pawed person that shared your life for almost 20 years. That`s a lot more than many people alive would ever know about quiet love and companionship. Cry my friend, she deserves, you deserve. I`m crying too, although I did not make it to Scotland in time to hug her alive. I`ll hold her in my dreams, OK? Sooo sorry... I`ll go read the article on flickr now.
Take care

Hi, Gerry here: so sorry to read about Hazel, something I have experinced just the once and I still get echoes so frequently (esp when I see Broc`s black cat).
This is pook,

she too experinced the madness of a hyperactive thyroid: crushed tablet twice a day and sold to her as "sugar sprinkles" calms her down (though it does weaken the heart): See you in march.
