The sculptures weren't intended for kids but I'm sure they climb them anyway. I suspect some adults too. I find their look to be interesting against the trees and sky. They are the results of a project from many years back.

Thanks for the b-day wishes. Any more I just try to blend in with the holiday. I spent my day outdoors doing things that I really enjoy. A quiet but nice way to spend the day.

Re: Yes, I think Rainier's glaciers are pretty healthy. From what I hear and have seen, some of the glaciers in the interior of the N. Cascades are not doing as well. I'll see for myself in a few weeks, on a hike to Cloudy Pass.
