Argentina vs. Mexico!
Hello, my Fotolog friends! Haven't been around much lately, but tomorrow morning I leave for South Africa and I will be seeing two world cup games. The first round of 16 game will be...you guessed it, Argentina vs. Mexico! I don't know which teams I will see play in the second game yet. I thought it would be Spain vs. Portugal, but who knows now? Chile vs. Brazil?
So as you might imagine I will be conflicted about which team to root for! How am I to choose between Argentina and Mexico? I guess since Fotolog has more users in Argentina, I will root for them in the first game. For that game I am in the "cheap seats".
Elke: if someone can find me and get a picture, I will buy them a year of Gold Camera Pro! I will wear my Fotolog t-shirt and using my Fotolog-embossed camera, but given how cold it has been down there, you probably won't be able to see my t-shirt.
Just a quick story: the last tournament in 2006 took place a few months after we had dramatically improved the performance of Fotolog and the site traffic was growing wonderfully. Then, in the middle of a busy day, the traffic dropped so low, I thought the site had crashed. We looked at every system and everything looked like it was running perfectly. It turned out that Argentina had just started playing.
