moments in a box
the notch train from north conway to crawford station goes through the white mountains. this round trip is only for enjoying the scenery, since this little train station is in the middle of nowhere.
in the 19th century, this was a stop on a line from portland, maine to st. johnsbury, vermont.
only a few miles from mt. washington, one of the coldest places in the country, it started to snow lightly as soon as we arrived at the station.
