Venezia - September 2008
behind red-hot and precise windows
the city flows, frantic. any city.
the thoughts stop, listening,
but everything becomes blurred into an only
obscure and threatening stream.
i listen to my heart, i note down its pulses
with quick and edged strokes.
i measure the time that is left,
i even measure its shortage
and the cats wrap themselves in their sunny dreams,
into a far away and lonely
starry night.
i wait for them, again and again,
in my night visions of what it wlll be.

Round circle, the only perfect and eternal form we know....but to me it seems the round and round eternity are a bit limited in itself :)
Strange object....did some space-invaders leave it there as a gift to the beautiful city ?
Yeah, the postman is sometimes lazy obviously, b ut I got it ! I remember owaiting for a bokk I´ve bought on ebay, I totally wanted that book, it was a rare one and I never got it.....there was nothing I could do about it....that´s really bad when that happens !

I did wonder, Eli, if the madonna and child behind the curtain were one of the "street madonna" shrines in Venezia, and, if so, where in Venice you saw it, if you remember? I couldn't find it at all on the Internet.

Yes, she is here! Working hard, absolutely. But never too hard. And almost done! Sunday morning, I was in my cluttered attic looking for a book when I came across my old calligraphics folder. Old pieces winking at me, saying, You did that, remember? You wrote me. Feeling quite the old piece myself, but well, happy.
