hi Eli...nice one...yeah the further you travel south in Europe you can find these Maria'boxes' near the road...well that is what I've seen I even got a big foto on my wall of her with a bottle of beer next to her..:P

Madonna and child wrapped in a curtain?
It's unusual, isn't it, in all but a few circles,
To be in faith so prim and hidden, so uncertain?
Not so your poem, Milady rough and raw.
What have you done, and whose guts
Are those, dripping redly from your jaw?
What went on after leaving Church?
Tell me what you did, whom you saw,
Before rounding back and writing such.
Tell me what transits you made of loneliness.
What desert, what sea, what lucent cloud
Imparted to you that fury, that holiness
You felt under the black wing, your shroud
Crackling in brain and body, shooting golden bolts,
Your whispered prayers now cried out loud.

You know when we went to Venice with a couple friends we thought there would surely be no McD in Venice....and then we found at least three.....what a surprise !
But still it´s one of the most beautiful and fascinating citites on earth !
