September 10, 2008; 1:54 a.m. - Taipei, Taiwan. A few streets from where I live. Just about every neighborhood has a little market street nearby, if not a major night market, that caters to the food and sundries needs of the neighborhood.
Obviously everything is closed at this time of night, although further down there are some street side food stalls that I've seen open past 3 in the morning. This street in my neighborhood is what I would call "very local", and very little appeals to my foreign tastes.
