Good morning Greg, a barn wall could make an interesting subject for a modern painting!
Happy trails...Chris

I can't resist old barns...

As I said in my legend (I don't know if you understand Portuguese..) this railroad was built around 1880.
So, we can imagine the tough life that workers must had without our modern machinery.

Nice phto too!!!

Maisie

that's a nice picture, I love those barns with the paint getting so worn ...
thanks for your explanation. So it isn't even a bridge, haha.
your Johnson City probably has no relation with LBJ ..., the Texas Johnson City was named after LBJ's grandfather, a VIP there, once.

u always with the good pics, this one looks like a nice place to spend the weekend and think about the forgotten memories

saludos que andes genial

You feel the summer with its warm temperatures in your picture, I like the light-and-shadow-play so much. Over here it was raining terribly and we are longing for real summer. Although the 2 days we spent in the Alps were just wonderfuf, we were so lucky climbing and hiking in the sun!
Have a good day, hugs to you,
Margit

What a nice old building, and as margit says the light-and-shadow is lovely. Would be a good place to be on a hot summer's day.

Here the weather has gone rainy, strong winds and showers are the orders for today so I've spent most of the time inside doing not very much. Nice for a change.

Have a good weekend.
Hugs, Patsy

Hello Greg! nice picture, i can´t see what is it.. is it a house? or a hut?

Que pases un buen fin de semana...

Hi Greg!
Gorgeous photo! Beautiful texture and tones! I am enjoying your wanderings!
Hope you have a nice weekend!
take care!

Greg, very interesting; old buildings; including old barns. I like investigating these old buildings. Lot's of history in these old structures especially in the NE USA.

Have a great Saturday.
Harry

Wood ages so wonderfully. I can feel the history too. Is that fireweed growing out front?

Have a happy weekend!
Cindy

Beautiful sun-and-spray paintings!!! ^_^

Im exactly the same.. Miscellaneous wanderings like Tom Sawyer. Its a feeling of adventure and discovery that make "miscellaneoys wanderings"so special and even better when you take a photo of a gem like this. It must be high summer there,, its winter here,, there coldest winter in NZ since 1952. Brrrrrrr

RE: it is interesting that we can be googled from space.
Happy trails...Chris

LINDO. BELA FOTO.
BOM DIA !

Assim como as flores abrem as
pétalas para receber o orvalho
eu abro meu coração para que
as flores da nossa amizade, jamais...
percam o perfume e nunca sejam
tocadas pelas mãos frias do
esquecimento.

Deixo meu carinhoso abraço e a certeza de que estarei sempre por aqui.
Saudações Florestais !
