Greg, yes it is a tradition. I think it is not only NJ but your right; a NE tradition. I have met people at the wildwoods from all over the place.

The images from the Arboretum are good. Do they have a Canopy tour. I saw an article in t he Philadelpphia Inquirere the other day and the Morris Arboretum, I belive in Wissahickon, PA, right outsie of Philly has a Canopy tour above the tree tops which look like it would be something great to do.
