I haven`t gotten the engine started yet (the battery for the starter motor was discovered to be dead), but I believe it`s not so noisy, at least from the ground; I don`t know much about other ultralight/kit-built airplanes. I plan to fly it next week, weather permitting.

Sweet. Noisy? I flew a CFM Shadow once and was deaf for a week. Impossible to stall, however.
