doooood!
we were about to go check a concrete park yesterday and it started pissing down with rain, so we went to the Casiopiea (?) indoor park (it some big-ass punk squat place). I'm not into wooden indoor parks or paying to play, but DAMN it was fun!!! so freakin fast that place! and the vert ramp is off the hook. I don't skate vert, but just pumping around, seeing how high I could get, it's such a weird feeling. and the ramp is so fast. it WANTS you to skate it!
anyway, at one stage, while coming out of a ramp into the wall ride I lost control and fell. Onto my right side as usual (I'm goofy) but my left hand flew over my head and slapped the floor so hard that a huge "clap" rang out through the park. fuck me it hurt! but I got right back up and hit the same ramp again, can't let those fuckers control you with fear! But not long after I was hurting so bad I couldn't really skate full on for fear of falling on my hand again, so after a while sitting on top of the vert ramp to feel the fear we went for a coffee, skated the streets a bit, ate soup with coconut milk and lemongrass, discussed my friends play he's written, and went our seperate ways.
today I can't make a fist or open a jar of jam or turn on a tap! don't think I ever bruised my hand so badly before.
