Going Green

Bailie has become very environmentally conscious in the past year. I think this is partially due to one of our favorite shows, John & Kate Plus 8. Kate cooks all organic and tries to run a green household. Bailie has picked up on a lot of Kate's habits.

So, for my birthday this month, Bailie got me 10 Go Green bags from our local grocery store. I admit, at first my thought was...great...grocery bags...one more thing to keep up with. But, I've started using them and they are great. Not only are the bags environmentally friendly, but you can fit a ton of groceries in them. And, I love the fact that they always stack neatly in the back of my car instead of flopping around like the flimsy plastic bags you get at the store. Plus, as an added bonus, I get $.05 off my groceries for every bag I use. I think I may become rich on that alone. :)

So, thanks Bailie for a great gift and for pushing me to help save our environment. Today I bought organic milk...watch out world!
