At this time of year this is the only safe way to go paddling in Scotland :-) Actually since this is where the Forth meets the North Sea it ain't exactly warm even in the summer, this water. Actually the SUV was trying to do a turn so the backside was facing out so he could hook on the trailer to pull in a boat to take off the beach - there's a launching slope next to this for the RNLI station's lifeboat and a lot of the boaters use it too for getting up and down from the beach.
Wonderful!
Even on the west coast of Scotland in summer the paddling is cold, but your feet feel so much better when you come out and get them dry :-)
Maybe they'll extend the tram once they've got the first bit done, which is the worst part of the upheaval. Extensions are less problematic as you can do them in litttle bits. People here were sceptical about how useful it would be as the tourist season is fairly short, but as the line has got longer a lot more local folk use it as it's comfortable and frequent.
Hope your back is getting better. Gentle hugs.
Great capture in this shot
Hope you have a nice Thursday
Take care
