I`ve seen leopards do this, it`s called "fleming" Probably the wrong spelling. Moving the mouth that way makes the scent glands even more receptive. Wonderful shot and happy New Year!

Wonderful picture, and congratulations on gold camera. You will enjoy it more now I think. Now, if you want to, you can write to admin@fotolog.net and request that you get group status. You would need to tell them the idea for your group and outline that in the "about bigcats" section it would state that people must follow the TOS (terms of service) of fotolog, and that the photos must be taken by the submitter themselves, not someone else`s copyright pictures. It takes a short time to get approved, but this would be a wonderful group. You and other people could post up to 50 big cat photos a day.
