odd machine is an open-ended collaborative investigation whose first release featured tobias freund and ricardo villalobos (nsp o3 © 2007); the project will expand over time to include a wide variety of musicians.
this time tobias freund got together with his long time friend atom™.
atom™, whose musical friendship with tobias goes back over 20 years, provided linn 9000 / lm-2 and tenori-on rhythm programmings which were recorded at his studio in santiago de chile and during a brief jam at tobias freund's studio in berlin.
tobias freund was responsible for the production, additional sounds, beats and mixdown treatments.
all in all a record that follows the idea of non standard productions.
